Frequently Asked Questions
Answers about validation, delivery, refunds, renewal, installation and payment processing.
Are you a Certificate Authority?
No. We are an independent reseller. The relevant CA performs validation and issues the certificate.
How quickly will my certificate be issued?
DV certificates are often issued quickly after domain verification. OV and EV require organization checks and usually take longer. See the Delivery Policy for estimates.
What is the difference between DV, OV and EV?
DV verifies domain control. OV adds organization verification. EV uses enhanced identity and authorization checks. Browser display behavior depends on current browser standards.
Can I get a refund?
Possibly, especially before issuance, but eligibility depends on the product, CA rules, payment provider and applicable law. Issued digital certificates are generally non-refundable unless an exception applies.
Do certificates renew automatically?
Only when an automatic renewal arrangement is clearly disclosed and authorized. Otherwise, renewal requires a new order and validation.
Do you install the certificate?
Installation is not included unless expressly stated. We may provide general guidance, while the hosting provider or server administrator is normally responsible for installation.
Why is my order pending?
Common reasons include incomplete domain verification, organization checks, payment review, inaccurate information or a CA manual review.
Who processes my payment?
The checkout and receipt identify the payment provider. Depending on the arrangement, the provider may act as processor or Merchant of Record.
Can a certificate be revoked?
Yes. A CA may revoke a certificate for key compromise, fraud, misuse, inaccurate information or other reasons under its policies.
How do I contact support?
