Digital Delivery Policy
How certificate orders are validated, issued and delivered electronically.
1. Delivery Method
All products are delivered electronically. Delivery may include order instructions, validation links, certificate files, download access, account access or issuance confirmation.
2. Estimated Timelines
| Product Type | Typical Validation | Main Dependencies |
|---|---|---|
| DV SSL | Often minutes to several hours | Domain-control verification and CA systems |
| OV SSL | Often 1–5 business days | Organization records, callbacks and document review |
| EV SSL | Often 2–10 business days | Enhanced organization and authorization checks |
| Code Signing / specialized products | Varies | Identity verification, hardware or CA requirements |
These are non-binding estimates. Actual time varies by CA, jurisdiction, product, customer response and validation complexity.
3. Customer Action Required
Orders may remain pending until the customer completes email, DNS, file-based, telephone, organization or identity verification. Customers should monitor inbox and spam folders and ensure submitted contact information is correct.
4. Delivery Confirmation
Delivery is considered completed when the certificate, activation details or download instructions are made available to the customer’s account or sent to the email used for the order.
5. Delays
Contact us if no order communication is received after payment. Delays can arise from fraud review, payment confirmation, inaccurate information, sanctions screening, CA maintenance or manual validation.
6. Installation
Unless expressly included, certificate installation and server configuration are the customer’s responsibility. Support may provide general guidance but cannot guarantee compatibility with every hosting environment.
